INDIA PAK RELATIONSHIP AND IPL

The snubbing of Pakistani players in the IPL has created tension between India and Pakistan. There are many threats coming from Pakistan like they will boycott hockey world cup to be held in India, boycott Hindi films in Pakistan etc. It is understandable that Pakistani cricket fans have been hurt by the action of IPL franchisees. But the Pakistani government should have behaved sensibly. After all, IPL is a pure private enterprise done for huge profit. Also, the main motive of Pakistani players to play in IPL is to make money not bridging the gap between India and Pakistan. They are also not representing Pakistan; they will be representing Indian franchisees. So, I think this controversy is unnecessary. It is evident that Pakistani politicians have used this situation for their own gain. It also shows that Pakistani government is not interested in normalizing the relationship between India and Pakistan.

I also think that Pakistani government is more responsible for this situation. This is bound to happen given the condition between India and Pakistan. Before blaming India, Pakistan should first stop abetting terrorism. Nothing justifies, the use of terrorism against India. Recently Pakistani prime minister has said that, they cannot guarantee that another 26/11 will not happen in India and adds that, they cannot guarantee the security of their own citizens, so how can they guarantee the security of Indians. Wow, what a government. I wonder how can he say that. I don’t know why he is their sitting as prime minister, if he cannot guarantee the security of his own citizens. Why do they have security forces and army.  Does they have only one job- attack India. Anyway, who said them to encourage terrorism. It is their deed, and should bore the consequence.

I think the relationship between India and Pakistan cannot be normal until Pakistan closes all the terrorist camps in their soil and hand over the culprits involved in the terrorist attacks in India. Even if we have good relationship in sports and arts, it will break, with another terrorist attack on India. And Indian government should take strong measures, to stop this terrorism once and for all. How long will this India-Pakistan dispute go on. Pakistan and India should know that, US and China are making use of this situation.
